Oregon vs. North Dakota final score: Ducks stay unbeaten with 91-76 win

Mike Moser had 13 points and 15 rebounds to lead Oregon to its sixth straight win to start the season.

Scott Olmos-USA TODAY Sports

No. 14 Oregon led almost the entire way and cruised to a 91-76 win over North Dakota in the Global Sports Hardwood Challenge on Saturday to improve to 6-0 on the season. It is Oregon’s best start since 2006-07 when it started 13-0.

The Ducks dominated the game inside, out-rebounding the Fighting Sioux 45-28, led by senior forward Mike Moser. Moser had a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds, but it was transfer guard Joseph Young who stole the show for Oregon. He has scored in double figures every game this season and poured on 23 points on 7-of-11 shooting on Saturday. Young was also 8-for-8 from the line.

Overall, Oregon had another solid game offensively, shooting 59 percent from the field. Oregon is shooting over 51 percent as a team this season, ranking 20th in the country.

And Oregon needed its offensive efficiency against North Dakota. The Fighting Sioux had a pair of players score over 20 points: Troy Huff had 25 and Aaron Anderson added 22, though Huff was also 0-7 from three. Huff also shot 8-25 overall, setting a new Matt Knight Arena record for field goal attempts in a game.
