The No. 9 Arizona Wildcats survived a late rally from the Utah Utes on Sunday afternoon, escaping the Jon M. Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, with a 68-64 victory. Arizona snapped a two-game losing streak with the win.

Arizona got up big on Utah before the Utes rallied to tie the game with less than five minutes remaining. Facing the possibility of a third straight loss, the Wildcats finished strong and escaped Salt Lake City with a hard-fought win.

Utah came back from a 13-point deficit in the second half to tie the game at 51 apiece on Jason Washburn's tip-in with 4:47 remaining. However, Arizona bounced back with a 5-0 run capped off by a three-point play from Mark Lyons to regain the lead, and the Wildcats fended off the Utes the rest of the way.
Lyons scored 18 points to lead the Wildcats (21-4, 9-4 Pac-12), who shot better than 50 percent from the field for the majority of the game before settling in at 47.2 percent.
Jarred DuBois finished with 16 points to lead the Utes (11-14, 3-10 Pac-12), while Jeremy Olsen came off the bench to score a career-high 12.
Arizona forced 15 Utah turnovers and outrebounded the Utes, 33-24.
