St. John’s suspends leading scorer D’Angelo Harrison for rest of season
Head coach Steve Lavin announced on Friday that St. John’s sophomore guard D’Angelo Harrison has been suspended for the remainder of the 2012-13 season and all postseason games.

“I had a productive meeting with D’Angelo yesterday. He has a bright future in basketball and I’m optimistic his time away from our team will be of value,”
Harrison was reportedly suspended for a pattern of bad behavior, but he may still have a chance to earn his way back onto the team next year.
St. John's suspending D'Angelo Harrison had to do with a "pattern of behavior," according to sources.

Regarding D'Angelo Harrison's suspension, it's possible he returns next season but must earn it by changing behavior patterns.

Harrison was a preseason second-team All-Big East selection this year.
St John's is 19-11 on the season and in ninth place in the Big East Conference standings. They have three conference games left on their regular season schedule, and their next game will be on Saturday against the Providence Friars.
