2013 Big South Tournament schedule and bracket: Liberty faces Charleston Southern in Big South final

Entering the tournament with a 6-10 conference record, Liberty is the Cinderella story against favorite Charleston Southern.

Rafael Suanes-US PRESSWIRE

After knocking off Big South heavyweights High Point and Gardner-Webb, Liberty looks to become one of the most unlikely teams to enter the NCAA Tournament this year. Standing in the way of their automatic bid is Charleston Southern, who beat VMI on Saturday to reach the Big South Tournament final. The final bracket for the tournament can be found here.

Liberty, the No. 5 seed in the North region, and Charleston Southern, the No. 1 seed from the South, square off at noon ET Sunday to see which team will represent the Big South in the NCAA Tournament. The game will air on ESPN2 and can be streamed live on ESPN3.

The Charleston Southern Buccaneers have reached the NCAA Tournament just once in their history, losing in the opening round in 1997 to UCLA. The Liberty Flames have danced twice, bounced by North Carolina and St. John's in 1994 and 2004.
