MAAC Tournament 2013 schedule and bracket: No. 1 seed Niagara marches on

No. 1 seed Niagara will face No. 4 seed Iona in the semifinals of the 2013 MAAC tournament. The winner will face whoever emerges from the upset battle between No. 7 seed Fairfield and No. 6 Manhattan on Monday night in the title game.

The Niagara Purple Eagles, the No. 1 seed in the 2013 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference tournament, advanced to Sunday's semifinal round with a 74-62 victory over the Siena Saints on Saturday. Niagara will next face a tougher test on Sunday against No. 4 seed Iona.

On the other side of the bracket, two upset winners will battle for a shot in Monday night’s championship game. No. 7 seed Fairfield and No. 6 seed Manhattan won in the quarterfinals on Saturday, setting up an unlikely semifinal battle on Sunday.

Here is what the rest of the tournament schedule looks like (all times Eastern):

No. 1 Niagara vs. No. 4 Iona, 2 p.m., March 10, ESPN3

No. 7 Fairfield vs. No. 6 Manhattan, 4:30 p.m., March 10, ESPN3

Championship game, 7 p.m., March 11, ESPN/ESPN2
