Pac-12 basketball standings 2013: UCLA takes conference crown

UCLA took advantage of losses by Cal and Oregon by beating Washington on the road on Saturday to win the outright Pac-12 regular-season title.

USA TODAY Sports

The UCLA Bruins won the outright Pac-12 regular-season championship with a win over the Washington Huskies and losses by the Oregon Ducks and California Golden Bears.

Cal lost to Stanford on Wednesday, ending its hopes for a conference crown before the final weekend. Oregon had a good shot to earn at least a share of the league title early on Saturday, but stumbled at Utah, which finished in 10th place in the conference. That opened the door for UCLA, which won on the road to secure the top spot in the conference and the No. 1 seed in the upcoming Pac-12 Tournament.

The Arizona Wildcats finished in a tie with Oregon and Cal for second place, while Colorado was the only other team to finish above .500 in conference play.
