MEAC basketball tournament 2013 schedule and bracket: 1st round continues Tuesday

The first round of the MEAC tournament continues on Tuesday, with three more games starting at 4 p.m. ET.

Beth Hall-USA TODAY Sports

The Mid-Eastern Athletic conference men’s basketball tournament enters its second day on Tuesday, and it features the last three games in the first round of the tournament.

The first game is a meeting between the No. 8-seed Bethune-Cookman Wildcats and the No. 9-seed Coppin St. Eagles. The game will start at 4 p.m. ET. The game is a rematch of both team's season finales, as Coppin State defeated Bethune-Cookman, 69-61, March 7.

The second game on Tuesday will pit the seventh-seeded North Carolina A&T Aggies against the 10th-seeded Florida A&M Rattlers. The game will tip off at 6:30 p.m. ET.

A&T enters the game as fairly heavy favorites despite being the seventh seed in the tournament. The Aggies own the conference's second-toughest defense, and have the 15th-best shot-blocker in the nation in senior Austin Witter. A&T also beat A&M in their only meeting this season, a 64-56 win at the Corbett Sports Center.

The final first-round game starts at 9 p.m. ET, and features the No. 6 Delaware St. Hornets against the No. 11 Howard Bison. Delaware State swept the season series against Howard this season, including a three-point victory at Burr Arena on March 2.
