2013 MAC Tournament schedule and bracket: Upset-minded Miami continue tournament run
After a day off, the Mid-American Conference Tournament resumes play Wednesday with second-round action.

The 11th-seeded Redhawks upended the sixth-seeded Bowling Green Falcons 63-52 to advance to the second round. They will face off against the seventh-seeded Eastern Michigan Eagles, who barely squeaked by the Northern Illinois Huskies (45-44) in the first round.
On the other side of the bracket, the eighth-seeded Buffalo Bulls advanced to the second round after holding off the ninth-seeded Central Michigan Chippewas 74-72 on Sunday. They will face the fifth-seeded Ball State Cardinals, who had a bye into the second round.
With the win on Monday, the Redhawks have equaled their longest win streak of the season. In their only meeting during conference play, Miami tried to battle back from a 14-point deficit in the second half, coming within two points with two remaining before falling short 65-68 back on Jan. 19.
The Ball State Cardinals are playing some of their best basketball of the season; winning seven of their final eight games to finish conference play even at 8-8. They lost 66-63 on a three-pointer with 12 seconds left in their only meeting against Buffalo this year on Jan. 23. Senior Cardinals guard Jauwan Scaife has been on fire of late, averaging 22.8 points a game over their final eight games.
