An unlikely MEAC tournament title game is set, as the No. 5 Morgan St. Bears and the No. 7 N.C. A&T Aggies each won their respective semifinal matchups.

Morgan State won the first semifinal game, defeating the No. 8 Bethune-Cookman Wildcats, 82-71. The Bears started the game with the first seven points, and never trailed the entire game. Shaquille Duncan led Morgan State with 17 points, while Justin Black and DeWayne Jackson added 16 points apiece. The Wildcats also played strong defense against the MEAC's leading scorer Adrien Coleman, who only scored eight for the Wildcats.

N.C. A&T continued its surprising run through the tournament by defeating the No. 6 Delaware St. Hornets, 84-78, in the second semifinal matchup. The Aggies led for most of the game, but the Hornets kept the game competitive to the final minute.

Morgan State and N.C. A&T will play in the MEAC championship game on Saturday at 5 p.m., with ESPNU televising the game. The winner will receive an automatic invite to the NCAA tournament.
