The top two teams in the Southland conference will meet in the tournament championship game, as the No. 1 Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks and the No. 2 Northwestern St. Demons held off underdogs in the semifinals.

Stephen F. Austin jumped out to a big lead in the first half, then cruised to defeat the No. 4 SE Louisiana Lions, 68-57. The Lumberjacks held a 14-point lead at halftime and kept the Lions from threatening during the second half. Antonio Bostic and Desmond Haymon led all scorers with 16 points each.
