The quarterfinals of the CBI Tournament begin on Monday after a multiday layover that should allow plenty of quality play between the rested teams.
CBI Tournament 2013 schedule and bracket: Quarterfinal action gets under way Monday
Sixteen teams are still left in the CBI Tournament which picks back up on Monday.

The first round of the CBI Tournament took place March 19-20 before going into slumber while the NCAA Tournament’s second and third round got into high gear.
It will be interesting to see if the second round can hold the competitiveness the first round showcased, where four of the games were decided by one point. Each team that notched a one-point victory in the first round will play one of the other close winners. George Mason and Houston face off after squeaking by in the first round, and Wyoming and Western Michigan take on each other in hopes of a less stressful win.
Elsewhere in the bracket, Purdue, the last remaining member from a major conference, takes on Santa Clara. Both coasted to victories by double digits in the first round. Wright State takes on Richmond in the last of the quarterfinal games. Wright State took home the honors for largest margin of victory in the first round after defeating Tulsa by 20 points. Richmond wasn’t so lucky, beating Bryant by five points.
