College Insider Tournament bracket results: Loyola defeats Kent State to advance
The College Insider Tournament had just one game going on Sunday as Loyola-Maryland defeated Kent State to advance to the third round.

Senior forward Erik Etherly led all scorers with 27 points in a game where each team had more fouls than they had field goals.
The refs were quick to whistle just about everything, and the Greyhounds had 24 fouls compared to 20 field goals. The Golden Flashes fared even worse, picking up 25 fouls and just 16 field goals.
Etherly wasn’t particularly hot from the field, hitting just 5-of-13, but he went 17-of-19 from the free throw line along with 11 rebounds.
Chris Evans and Randal Holt led Kent State with 13 points each, but saw their minutes limited just like many on the team with three players finishing the game with four fouls.
Loyola (Md.) will take on East Carolina in the quarterfinals on Tuesday. There is one remaining game in the second round between UC-Irvine and Oral Roberts on Monday.
