America East Tournament 2013 bracket: Stony Brook, Vermont could have rematch

Stony Brook and Vermont are the Nos. 1 and 2 seeds in the America East Tournament, setting up the possibility of a rematch of the 2012 America East title game between the two schools.

The America East Conference unveiled its tournament bracket on Sunday after the Stony Brook Seawolves were awarded with the league's championship trophy following a 14-2 conference slate.

Stony Brook owns the top seed in the tournament,and will open up against Binghamton, who won just one game in league play and finished 3-26 overall. The Vermont Catamounts, who won the 2012 America East Conference Tournament over Stony Brook, earned the No. 2 seed and will take on New Hampshire, who finished the season with a 9-19 record and went 5-11 in America East action.

The quarterfinal and semifinal rounds will be played at SEFCU Arena in Albany, N.Y., while the Championship Game will take place on the home floor of the highest remaining seed.

The full schedule is included below. All times listed are ET.

Quarterfinals: Saturday, March 9 on ESPN3

Game 1: No. 2 Vermont vs. No. 7 New Hampshire, noon

Game 2: No. 3 Hartford vs. No. 6 UMBC, 2 p.m.

Game 3: No. 1 Stony Brook vs. No. 8 Binghamton, 6 p.m.

Game 4: No. 4 Albany vs. No. 5 Maine, 8 p.m.

Semifinals: Sunday, March 10 on ESPN3

Game 5: Game 1 winner vs. Game 2 winner, 5 p.m.

Game 6: Game 3 winner vs. Game 4 winner, 7 p.m.

Championship: Saturday, March 16 on ESPN2

Game 7: Game 5 winner vs. Game 6 winner, 11:30 a.m.
