Colorado’s Andre Roberson out indefinitely with mono, could miss the Pac-12 Tournament

Colorado will be without Andre Roberson and his double-double per game for an indefinite period of time while he recovers from mono.

Colorado Buffaloes forward Andre Roberson could sit out the Pac-12 Conference Tournament due to a case of mononucleosis, according to CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein.

For more on this story, head over to Ralphie Report.

Roberson, a 6'7 junior out of San Antonio, has been a key cog for Colorado this season, averaging 10.8 points and 11.5 rebounds. The 2012-13 season marks the second consecutive year Roberson has averaged a double-double.

Colorado still has a shot at the No. 4 seed in the conference tournament, as it sits a game-and-a-half behind Arizona in the standings heading into its meeting with No. 19 Oregon on Thursday. The Buffaloes defeated the Ducks, 48-47, on Feb. 7 behind a 10-point, 13-rebound effort from Roberson.

The Buffaloes are currently projected as a No. 10 seed in this year's NCAA Tournament by SB Nation bracket expert Chris Dobbertean. Last season, Colorado won the Pac-12 tournament in its inaugural year in the league and went on to beat UNLV in the first round before falling to Baylor in the Round of 32.
