UCLA vs. Washington final score: Bruins clinch share of Pac-12, win 61-54

UCLA broke an eight-game losing streak at Hec Edmundson Pavillion.

USA TODAY Sports

UCLA clinched at least a share of the Pac-12 title by defeating Washington 61-54. Shabazz Muhammad scored 21 for Ben Howland's team, ranked No. 23 in the country. The Bruins polished off the Huskies for the second time this season, again pulling away late behind a big bucket by Larry Drew II.

In addition to Muhammad's 21, the Bruins also got 16 points and four steals from Jordan Adams. For the Huskies, Scott Suggs led the scoring with 14 points, while forward Desmond Simmons and center Aziz D'Niaye combined for 21 rebounds. Washington turned the ball over 19 times, as opposed to just ten for UCLA. Suggs and Abdul Gaddy were the main offenders, giving the ball up four times each.

It was the first road win at Washington for UCLA in nine seasons. With an Oregon loss against Utah, the Bruins will win the Pac-12 outright for the fourth time in Howland’s tenure.
