It's been a frenetic first half, but with just a couple minutes left, the Michigan Wolverines are ready to go into the locker room with a halftime lead. At the final media timeout of the half, Michigan leads No. 1 overall seed Louisville 33-21.
Michigan vs. Louisville score update: Albrecht on fire late in the half
We’re almost midway through the National Championship Game and Michigan is just a few minutes away from going into the locker room with the lead, thanks mainly to freshman Spike Albrecht.

Trey Burke scored the Wolverines' first seven points, but the story of the half has been freshman Spike Albrecht. The guard has come off the bench to score 17 points, already a career high, on 4-4 shooting from three. That included a triple with exactly 6:00 left in the half to put Michigan up by ten. His next bucket prompted Louisville coach Rick Pitino to use a full timeout.
As a team, Michigan is shooting 13-25 from the field. On the other end, Wayne Blackshear leads the Cardinals with just five points as Louisville is doing its best to keep up with the Spike Albrecht show.
