The Louisville Cardinals just keep fighting. Michigan held a 46-42 lead a few minutes into the second half, but then Peyton Siva and Chane Behanan finished back-to-back layups. Now, with under 12 minutes to play, Louisville leads 54-52.
Michigan vs. Louisville score update: Cardinals charge back to take the lead
Almost midway through the second half, Louisville holds a slim lead on Michigan as both teams start to close in on a championship.

The Cardinals took their first lead of the half on free throws from Behanan, who is now in double figures with 13 points. But the big blow came on the next possession when Russ Smith hit an open three from the left corner. As a team, Louisville is 7-11 from beyond the arc.
With Louisville on a 12-3 run and with all the momentum, Michigan needed an answer. That answer came with about 12 minutes left on a long three from Trey Burke. Burke had a quiet first half, but now has 14 points for the Wolverines.
