Kansas State forward Adrian Diaz will transfer out of Kansas State, according to the Kansas City Star. In two seasons, the 6'10 sophomore was unable to crack the Wildcats' starting lineup, playing under eight minutes per game in his sophomore campaign. Diaz will reportedly seek to transfer to a school that is closer to his hometown of Miami.

Recruited by former head coach Frank Martin, Diaz played his sophomore season under Bruce Weber. The former Illinois coach took over when Martin was fired following the 2012 season.
Due to his limited minutes, Diaz was not able to showcase much of his talents. In his freshman season, the Miami native averaged 3.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game in 10 minutes of playing time. Not only did his minutes fail to increase in his sophomore year, but they dropped to just 7.7 per game. Diaz did not log a single minute in Kansas State’s second-round loss in the NCAA Tournament against La Salle.
