Florida Gators point guard Scottie Wilbekin has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules, the school announced via Twitter.
Scottie Wilbekin suspended indefinitely by Florida Gators
No other details were given as to why the Florida Gators suspended their point guard.

It's the second suspension in less than a year for the rising senior. Head coach Billy Donovan suspended Wilbekin for three games at the beginning of last season for another undisclosed reason.
Wilbekin averaged 9.1 points and 5.0 assists as a junior last season, his breakout campaign for the Gators. The 6’2, 176-pound guard averaged more than 31 minutes per game and became the lead playmaker for Florida, which marched to a 29-8 record on the season.
Should Wilbekin not return before the start of the season, there is talent to take over his spot.
Donovan brought in point guard Kasey Hill in the 2013 recruiting class. The McDonald’s All-American is a 6’ guard who like Wilbekin is an excellent playmaker. Still, the loss of Wilbekin could obviously hurt from an experience standpoint, not to mention defensively. Wilbekin was a standout perimeter defender who averaged 1.5 steals per game.
