The Hoyas added to a quality recruiting class on Sunday.

White, a 6'8 Chicago native, had interest from a list of schools including the Arizona Wildcats, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, Connecticut Huskies and DePaul Blue Demons, according to Daniels. An official visit to Arizona scheduled for next weekend was cancelled upon his commitment to John Thompson III and the Hoyas, Daniels said.
Scout ranks White as the No. 14 power forward in the class and the No. 48 overall player. ESPN.com ranks White as the No. 58 overall player in the class.
White is the fourth high-school commit for Thompson in the Class of 2014, according to 247 Sports. He joins small forward Isaac Copeland, who committed back in March and ranks in 247’s rankings as the No. 39 player in the class. The other two commits so far in the class are four-star shooting guard L.J. Peak and three-star point guard Tre Campbell. 247 ranks the Hoyas’ class, as of White’s commitment, as the sixth-best in the country and best in the Big East.
