Lenzelle Smith makes possibly the dumbest play of all-time
Up 1 with 10 seconds left and the ball, the Ohio St. Buckeyes looked like they were in great position to close out the Wisconsin Badgers. Unfortunately, of the million different things that could have happened, Lenzelle Smith, Jr. (a senior, no less) chose literally the only one that would give Wisconsin a chance to win the game.
I don’t mean to be hyperbolic, but that type of play is what drives coaches to drink.
Fortunately for both Smith and Thad Matta’s sanity, the Buckeyes got a stop on the final possession, winning 59-58.
