Marcus Smart was "down and remorseful" after shoving a Texas Tech fan in the final moments of Oklahoma State's loss in Lubbock, according to an ESPN report. Marcus Smart did not speak with the media following Oklahoma State’s loss to Texas Tech, but team officials said the star guard was remorseful for his actions.

Orr often attends Texas Tech games and the program’s athletic department spokesman said they’ve never had problems with him “crossing the line” previously. Texas Tech has not released a statement on the incident.
Oklahoma State players were not made available to media following their loss and the program has not released a statement on Smart. Cowboys head coach Travis Ford spoke with media during his post-game press conference but did not comment on the incident, stating he was unable to see what occurred and wanted to “make sure” he saw what happened before discussing it.
Smart was assessed a technical foul after pushing Orr but was not ejected from the game. No disciplinary action has been announced, though Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby is expected to review the play and speak with Smart and Oklahoma State on Sunday.
