The Virginia Cavaliers will be making their first appearance in the ACC Tournament title game since 1994 after thir last-second win against the Pittsburgh Panthers, 51-48.

With his No.1 Cavaliers holding a three-point lead with three seconds left on the clock, Tony Bennett elected to not have his team foul as soon as the ball was brought in bounds. He trusted his defense that held the Panthers to 36.7 percent shooting. Pitt's James Robinson caught the inbounds pass on the left wing, turned around and fired away. In his face was Justin Anderson, who reached his left hand high into the sky to get a finger on the ball. It fell into the hands of Cameron Wright, and Bennett began his game-planning for the ACC championship game.

Leading the scoring for Virginia was senior guard Joe Harris, with 12 points while he also grabbed four rebounds. Anthony Gill and Malcolm Brogdon scored 10 each. None of Gill's 10 points were bigger than the two free throws he hit with ten seconds left to put his team up three.

Virginia will take on the winner of the N.C. State/Duke game that started at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN.

The final will take place at 1 p.m. ET Sunday on ESPN and on the ACC Network.
