Atlantic 10 Tournament 2014 schedule and bracket: VCU, St. Joseph’s face off for the title
VCU and St. Joseph’s will meet in the A-10 tournament final on Sunday. With both teams dancing, this game is more about seeding position and pride.

St. Joseph’s dispatched potential bid-stealer St. Bonaventure 67-48 in Saturday’s semifinal. The Hawks are viewed by Chris Dobbertean as a near-lock to make the NCAA Tournament, so bubble teams everywhere rejoiced when the final buzzer sounded and the Hawks moved on. A monster game from Halil Kanacevic carried St. Joseph’s to the win, as the senior forward scored 26 points and grabbed 17 rebounds.
VCU’s path to the NCAA Tournament is much less complicated. They were virtually guaranteed a spot by finishing No. 23 in the final regular season AP poll, and bolstered their spot by obliterating George Washington, 74-55, in the semifinal round. Treveon Graham led the Rams with 22 points, while Briante Walker scored 16 and dished out eight assists.
Shaka Smart’s gang is currently projected to get a No. 6 seed by SB Nation’s bracketology expert Chris Dobbertean, with the Hawks on the No. 10 line. Barring a blowout, Sunday’s result is unlikely to move the needle for either team, but there’s still a banner and a title up for grabs.
