NCAA Tournament scores, BYU vs Oregon: Ducks stomp Cougars, 87-68

Oregon blew past BYU with an offensive assault. The Ducks move on to face second-seeded Wisconsin.

The Oregon Ducks will keep dancing after knocking off BYU in an offensively charged game, 87-68. The Pac-12 gunners jumped out to an early lead and held off the Cougars down the stretch.

Oregon got a surprise scoring effort from backup forward Elgin Cook, who netted 23 points on 8-of-9 shooting. Cook only averaged a hair over six points per game in the regular season. Joseph Young, the team's leading scorer during the regular season, tallied 19 points in the win.

The Ducks limited BYU's dynamic guards, Tyler Haws and Matt Carlino. The pair combined to shoot just 11-of-34 for a combined 34 points on the day. Forward Eric Mika got it done at the line for the Cougars, shooting 11-of-16 on his way to 15 points.

Oregon will play Wisconsin on Saturday in the NCAA Tournament's Round of 32. With Arizona and Creighton lurking in the West bracket, the Ducks have their work cut out for them to reach their first Final Four since 1939.
