Shabazz Napier played like an All-American, propelling his team to a Sweet 16 berth.

Napier got his points despite foul trouble and a bruised shin limiting his minutes. The senior was 4-of-8 from three, at one point hitting three in a row from a few feet behind the college line. DeAndre Daniels added 11 points in the winning effort from his forward position.
Ryan Arcidiacono led the way for Villanova, hitting three threes and totaling 18 points on the day. James Bell added three triples as well, finishing with 14 points.
Connecticut advances to the Sweet 16 in the East region, playing the winner of Sunday’s game between North Carolina and Iowa State. The East regional semifinals and final will be played next week at Madison Square Garden.
