The final three second-round games are set for Monday night, with a trip to New York City still on the line.

The quarterfinals of the NIT will be finally filled Monday night, with three second-round games setting the final eight in college basketball's oldest postseason tournament. Top-seeded Florida State starts the night hosting No. 4 Georgetown. Tip off is set for 7 p.m. ET on ESPN. The Seminoles (20-13) advanced with a five-point win over Florida Gulf Coast, while Georgetown (18-14) dispatched of West Virginia. The winner will face Louisiana Tech on Wednesday night.
At 9 p.m. ET, SMU hosts LSU. Television coverage will be available on ESPN. The Mustangs (24-9) received a top seed in the NIT, and were widely considered the top team to miss the NCAA Tournament field. They comfortably beat UC Irvine to get into Monday's second round, while LSU (20-13) knocked off San Francisco on the road to advance. SMU split its two games with SEC opponents this year, losing to Arkansas and defeating Texas A&M.
Monday's final game pits the Arkansas Razorbacks against California in Berkeley, with television duties handled by ESPN2. Both Arkansas (22-11) and Cal (20-13) cruised through first round games. The Razorbacks hammered Indiana State 91-71, while the Golden Bears took out WAC regular season champ Utah Valley 77-64. The game is a rematch of a November meeting between the two teams at the Maui Invitational, won 85-77 by Cal. Monday night's winner will get the SMU-LSU victor in the quarterfinals Wednesday night.
