John Thompson III wishes Georgetown students hadn’t stormed court after Villanova upset

The Georgetown Hoyas scored easily their biggest win of the season Monday night, pounding No. 4 Villanova at home by a final score of 78-58. Afterward, things got a little weird.

One of the more bizarre court storms in college basketball history occurred after the final horn sounded, as the Georgetown students took to the floor despite the attempts of many of the older Hoya fans in the crowd to hold them back.

Apparently John Thompson III is on the side of the latter group.

It’s officially court-stormin’ debate season, y’all. Save some money and let the heat from the takes fill your homes for the rest of the winter.
