An incredible comeback by Iowa State allowed them to end Thursday night still unbeaten. The team trailed by as many as 20 to their in-state rivals, the Iowa Hawkeyes. Although the Cyclones entered the night ranked fourth in the country, the comeback was enough to inspire a court storming from the fans, and that’s when things got ugly.
A reporter broke his leg when Iowa State stormed the court

— Keith Murphy (@MurphyKeith) December 11, 2015 Always been fan of court storms. Tonight may change that. Reporter/friend @RandyPete trampled, leg in air cast, taken out on stretcher.
— Reid Forgrave (@ReidForgrave) December 11, 2015 Appears to be compound leg fracture for Randy Peterson, per Jamie Pollard.
— Chad Leistikow (@ChadLeistikow) December 11, 2015 The conversation will again be brought up about whether or not people should be storming courts after games, regardless of the situation, and this is certainly a strong talking point for the anti-court stormers. Much more important than that, however, is Randy Peterson’s leg and we are certainly wishing him a speedy recovery.
