Things got a little weird late in the game between BYU and Utah on Wednesday, and it all started when BYU’s Nick Emery threw a blatant punch to the face of Utah’s Brandon Taylor. Not a good look.
BYU basketball player ejected after blatant sucker punch

Emery was appropriately assessed a flagrant 2 foul and ejected from the game. Utah fans, apparently very unhappy about the punch, started throwing things on the court.
Fans throwing stuff on the floor; LaComb wants a technical. Nope. Emery has been ejected on a flagrant 2 foul.

Technical foul on Utah crowd for throwing objects on the floor. "So don't do it anymore, thank you," says PA announcer.
— Jay Drew (@drewjay) December 3, 2015 The game eventually resumed and Utah came away with an 83-75 victory. The Utes and BYU have a fairly heated rivalry and Emery’s punch isn’t likely to be forgotten anytime soon.
It’s also one of several dirty incidents by BYU athletes recently. A BYU football player blatantly punched an opponent in the groin this season. The football team was also involved in a brawl prior to their bowl game last year. STOP PUNCHING PEOPLE, BYU.
