The top-ranked Kentucky Wildcats will look to maintain their perfect record when they hit the road Saturday night to face the Florida Gators. The unranked Gators will have their hands full in what's sure to be their toughest test of the season. Florida has been streaky all year long with a winning streak of four games and a losing streak of three among a 12-10 overall record and a 5-4 mark in SEC play.

The Wildcats will take their perfect record into Gainesville with designs on coming out unscathed in a historic SEC matchup.

Kentucky is 22-0 on the season, with nine of those wins coming against SEC opponents. Junior forward Willie Cauley-Stein is the team leader in rebounds and forms a formidable frontcourt alongside freshman Karl-Anthony Towns. With such a sizable front line, the Wildcats have amassed the No. 2 defense in the country, allowing a paltry 51.0 points per game.
For a Florida team that ranks 214th in scoring with 66.0 points per contest, the numbers don't appear to favor the Gators. But juniors Michael Frazier and Dorian Finney-Smith will look to use their experience to propel their squad to an improbable win in front of the home crowd.
The pair leads the Gators in scoring with 13.4 and 12.8 points-per-game averages. For all of its deficiencies on offense, Florida has adequate size to matchup well with Kentucky’s bigs. They are also a strong team at home, winning 10 of 15 games.
Billy Donovan’s group is experienced and has proven capable on defense, ranking 26th with 59.3 points per game allowed to opponents. Coming off a narrow 67-61 loss at Vanderbilt, the Gators will have to bring their entire arsenal against the best team in the country.
