The end of college basketball games can often seem mired in bureaucracy, so let’s give some credit to Temple coach Frank Dunphy for letting his players decide the outcome in the final seconds of the Owls’ game against Memphis on Saturday afternoon. After a make by Memphis put the Tigers up one, Temple ran back down the other end and got the game-winning buck from Josh Brown with just seconds remaining.

Temple is now 17-7 and overall and third in the American at 8-3. Tusla is still pacing the conference, but the Owls are right there.
