Gonzaga avenged its loss two weeks ago to BYU with a balanced scoring attack.

Kyle Wiltjer again led the way for the Bulldogs. He cranked out a double-double (18 points, 10 rebounds) and Gary Bell Jr. and Kevin Pangos combined for 31 points during the Bulldogs double-digit win over the Cougars. Bell also played excellent defense on Tyler Haws, holding BYU's leading scorer to just 12 points. Kyle Collinsworth was excellent again and finished with 28 points and eight rebounds, but it wasn't enough.
The last time Gonzaga wasn't in WCC Tournament final, its starting five was either in diapers or just starting kindergarten. The Bulldogs have been to 18 consecutive WCC tournament finals, dating back to 1998 which nearly triples the NCAA's longest active streak.
Gonzaga is now officially headed to the NCAA tournament for the 17th straight season. The victory gave the Bulldogs their 12th WCC title in 15 years and third straight.
