Connecticut vs. Kansas 2016 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch March Madness online

Can UConn start another miracle run?

Is Connecticut about to go on another big NCAA Tournament run, just like it did in 2011 and 2014? This year’s Huskies look a lot like those teams, and they’ve already started the run, with an AAC Tournament championship and a win over Colorado in the first round of the Big Dance.

The problem? Kansas stands in the way.

The Jayhawks stormed through the latter half of their Big 12 slate, and they haven’t lost since Jan. 25. Since then, they’ve beaten Oklahoma, Kentucky, West Virginia (twice), Texas and Iowa State. That’s thanks mostly to the play of star senior forward Perry Ellis, and a dynamic backcourt of Devonte’ Graham, Frank Mason and Wayne Selden. The Kansas offense was dominant against an overmatched Austin Peay, scoring 105 points.

Can UConn keep up with that high-powered offense? The Huskies were discombobulated in the first half against Colorado, but the offense caught fire in the second half to pull out ahead. Rodney Purvis, Sterling Gibbs and Daniel Hamilton can keep up with Kansas’ stars — they scored a combined 48 points against the Buffaloes — but will that be enough? UConn can’t afford another slow start.
