Stop motion artist recreates the Villanova-UNC championship game using a ton of Lego figurines

Whoa.

Have you ever thought about what the final seconds of the Villanova-UNC buzzer-beating final from last season would look like portrayed by Legos?

Well:

Jared Jacobs matched up the audio perfectly to both Marcus Paige and Kris Jenkins’ shots from the final seconds of the tournament final, and this most certainly qualifies as art.

He used about 400 Lego figurines with taped-on jerseys, according to Yahoo!, to recreate the madness last year as a birthday gift to his 11-year-old daughter.

He captured it all using slow-motion animation and gave a little behind-the-scenes look:

But this isn’t his first Lego masterpiece.

He did Marshawn Lynch’s “I’m just here so I won’t get fined.”
