Wichita State player hit by hardest screen of the NCAA tournament

He just didn’t see it coming.

The first thing I do when I play pickup basketball is turn to the strangers-turned-teammates I’m playing with and scream, “Call out screens!”

Oof.

The Wichita State Shockers’ Zach Brown will take the win over the Dayton Flyers, but will be sore as anything tomorrow morning after taking a brutal hit from 230-pound Kendall Pollard. He didn’t even see it coming.

Bad teammates, man. Somebody should’ve yelled “Screen!” Those are going to hurt even more in the Shockers’ likely second-round matchup with the Kentucky Wildcats.
