With two seconds to go and tied at 60 against Michigan State, it’s obvious why Mark Turgeon puts the ball in Melo’s hands. Echoing my co-worker’s sentiments: How. Does. He. Do. It. Every. Single. Time.
I mean, I shouldn’t be shocked given that Melo has done this before.

But after a string of late-season losses to Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa, I wasn’t so certain Maryland could pull off beating Michigan State.
I was wrong. I failed to factor in Melo.
Oh, I’m so going to miss this guy when he leaves for the NBA.
