Final Four 2017: Times and TV schedule for NCAA tournament

The NCAA champion will be decided Monday in Phoenix.

The NCAA tournament has reached its final weekend with the South Carolina Gamecocks, Gonzaga Bulldogs, Oregon Ducks, and North Carolina Tar Heels all vying for the national championship. The winners of each region will meet in Phoenix on Saturday in semifinal action for a chance to play in Monday’s national championship game (9 p.m. ET CBS). Each team had a spectacularly different road here, and each is only two wins away from being crowned champions.

No. 7 South Carolina Gamecocks vs No. 1 Gonzaga Bulldogs, 6:09 p.m. ET, CBS

The South Carolina Gamecocks are this year’s Cinderella. The Gamecocks have gotten this far for the first time in program history, and did it in dramatic fashion. They already have beaten the likes of Duke, Baylor, and Florida to get this far and they look near unstoppable.

Gonzaga is in the Final Four for the first time, as well. The Bulldogs have been a relevant team in the world of college basketball for a decade, but this year they finally took the next step. They held the No. 1 ranking in the country for some time earlier this season, and have survived a few scares from Northwestern and West Virginia to reach Phoenix.

No. 3 Oregon Ducks vs No. 1 North Carolina Tar Heels, 8:39 p.m. ET, CBS

Oregon is in its first Final Four since 1939, when it won its lone national title. The Ducks have the best offense of the teams remaining, and plan to rain a three-point barrage on anyone who stands in their way.

North Carolina entered the tournament as favorites to win it all, and are only two wins away from doing just that. They escaped Kentucky in the Elite Eight in what may have been the best game of the tournament so far, but the challenges only continue for the Tar Heels. They hope to reach their second straight national championship game after falling seconds short of winning the title in 2016.
