USC basketball coach Andy Enfield heard what Colorado coach Tad Boyle had to say about the FBI scandal the Trojans are currently caught up in. And with USC leading late, Enfield decided to give Colorado a little extra time to think about its loss.
USC called a REVENGE TIMEOUT after Colorado coach admits to taking joy in Trojans’ FBI scandal
Pac-12 coaches are getting petty.

Up 12 points with 21 seconds left, Enfield called a time out. He did not make any substitutions. The game was already in hand. Instead, Enfield explained his timeout like this:
“I just had some things to say to my team.”
Boyle knew exactly what was going on.
Earlier in the week, as Colorado upset Arizona, Boyle said there was “absolutely” extra satisfaction in beating a school caught up in the FBI scandal. In his comments, he also mentioned USC, the other Pac-12 school busted by the FBI:
Enfield heard these comments and addressed them at a practice before the Colorado game. He wasn’t happy. That’s what triggered the revenge timeout.
This is what Boyle had to say when asked about it after the game:
This is not the first time we have seen a revenge timeout in Pac-12 play. You may remember Sean Miller taking a timeout with under one second left while up 11 on UCLA in last season’s conference tournament.
Pac-12 coaches are so petty.
