Jay Williams made West Virginia fans sing, then stunned them by picking Kentucky
Apologies to John Denver, but this was really good.
Jay Williams is cruel for this one. On location at WVU, the College GameDay host teased everybody with his pick by grabbing a guitar and making everybody sing John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” Williams asked the mountaineer mascot to shoot his musket ... and then he showed everyone he was wearing a Kentucky jersey.
He ruined a shirt just for this joke. He betrayed John Denver just for this joke. Sure, he can buy a new dress shirt, but you saw all those buttons flying off. That is commitment to the bit, and I have to respect this troll effort.
