Louisiana Tech player gets ejected for ... dunking too hard?

This is the worst and most bizarre tech of the 2017-18 season.

Early in the second half of Louisiana Tech’s 83-65 win over Charlotte Thursday night, the Bulldogs’ Jacobi Boykins was ejected for ... well, it’s hard to say exactly. Dunking too hard? Maybe?

See for yourself:

The mysterious technical foul was Boykins’ second of the game, and so he was ejected. As you can tell from Jason Capel’s commentary, he didn’t agree with either T.

The only problem I have with Boykins in all of this is his inability to avoid contact with whatever ice cream mascot was chilling just outside the Louisiana Tech tunnel:

Mr. Tastee didn’t hurt you, man. He didn’t deserve that.
