The Arizona Wildcats were the class of the Pac-12 Conference all season, and won their second consecutive Pac-12 Tournament title thanks to a 75-61 win over the USC Trojans on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Arizona wins Pac-12 championship behind super human performance from Deandre Ayton
The star freshman scored 32 points for the second straight night to help Arizona win the Pac-12 title.

Deandre Ayton was a force in the middle for the Wildcats with 32 points and 18 rebounds, Ayton also scored 32 points in Arizona’s semifinal win over UCLA.
Ayton’s dominance helped Arizona overcome a slow night from co-star Allonzo Trier, who finished with only seven points. The play of the night from Arizona came from sophomore guard Rawle Alkins, who put USC on a poster late in the second half.
Arizona shot only 4-of-17 from three-point range. Shooting remains a concern, and the team does not have a premier point guard. But as USC learned, there is simply no answer for Ayton’s physicality and skill level in the middle.
SB Nation’s Chris Dobbertean had USC as one of the last four teams avoiding the Dayton play-in games before this Pac-12 final, so it will be interesting to see how their NCAA Tournament chances hold after Saturday’s loss.
This was the record seventh Pac-12 Tournament title for Arizona, and their third in the last four seasons.
