So where is Xavier?
Cincinnati, Ohio!
What else should I know about Xavier?
You’ve probably heard of Xavier before today, but some facts:
- They’ve made the NCAA tournament 15 times in the past 17 seasons. They’re no slouch!
- They were in the Atlantic 10 Conference from 1995 until 2013. They moved to the Big East, which faced a shuffle after some realignment, where the Musketeers have continued their success under coach Chris Mack.
- They have advanced to eight Sweet Sixteens (1990, 2004, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2015, 2017).
- They have advanced to three Elite Eights (2004, 2008, 2017).
- Some notable alums include Tyrone Hill, Brian Grant, David West, and Jordan Crawford.
- Xavier is the most successful sports team in Cincinnati. Sorry, it’s just a fact that I’m stating.
