WCC Tournament 2018: Bracket, schedule, scores, teams, and more

Here’s what to know.

The top-seeded Gonzaga Bulldogs have now won their sixth WCC tournament title in a row after blowing out the BYU Cougars 74-54. Before the WCC tourney began, it appeared that the Zags and Saint Mary’s were on a collision course to play in another title game.

However, the Gaels got bounced in the semifinals by BYU, leaving the door open for Gonzaga to win their sixth consecutive WCC title. The Bulldogs now wait to see where they will be seeded on Selection Sunday.

The stakes

Gonzaga was going to make the tournament no matter what. Saint Mary’s seemed a pretty sure thing, too, as long as the Gaels made the tournament final. The point that they didn’t means Saint Mary’s is going to spend a few days on the bubble, uncomfortably.

The format

It’s a single-elimination, neutral-site tournament. Every game takes place at Vegas’ Orleans arena. Everyone in the 10-team league makes the tournament, and the top six seeds get a bye into the quarterfinals. The bottom four split up into to first-round games, with the winners joining the rest of the league for quarters on Saturday.

The bracket and schedule

The full bracket is here, with a daily schedule to be updated. On the WCC’s official bracket, times are Pacific, with full TV information included. Most of the tournament’s games are on an ESPN network and can be streamed online at WatchESPN.
