Sister Jean will be watching as No. 11 Loyola-Chicago plays for an Elite Eight bid against No. 7 Nevada in the South region. Meanwhile, it will be No. 9 Kansas State taking the floor instead of No. 16 UMBC — or No. 1 Virginia. No. 9 Florida State advanced to the second weekend by upsetting No. 1 Xavier while No. 11 Syracuse beat No. 3 Michigan State to earn a spot. No. 7 Texas A&M over No. 2 North Carolina ... who saw that coming?
The first four days of the tournament were chaos; and you don’t have to tell us, we already know your bracket is a pile of trash at this point. In fact, it might already be in a pile of trash.
We’re not here to judge, either. If you want to print this bracket out and fill in your predictions with a little hindsight, go for it. It’s nothing Lane Kiffin hasn’t done.
Still, be careful when filling this new bracket out. If last week taught us anything, it’s nothing makes sense. Your picks will definitely be wrong, so maybe think twice about posting this to Twitter.
