In a world where conferences like the Big Ten and ACC want to stake their claim as the most exciting postseason tournament prior to March Madness, the Missouri Valley Conference has just as much claim despite being viewed as one of the “little brothers” of college basketball.

However, when it comes to the MVC’s tournament — aka Arch Madness — they have just as much claim to being must-watch television as the rest of them.

This year, the Drake Bulldogs are the No. 1 seed after being the No. 2 a season ago behind Indiana State. However, ISU took a massive step back and enter postseason play as the conference’s No. 9 seed. Bradley (No. 2) and Belmont (No. 4) are both back in the Top 5 along with Northern Iowa (No. 3).

It was the No. 2 Bulldogs who eventually took down ISU in last year’s championship game by a score of 84-80. The Bulldogs are currently the two-time reigning MVC champions and have played in each of the past four. Now, under a new head coach, will they continue to add on to those streaks?

No. 2 Bradley is likely feeling dangerous entering the tournament knowing that they got the best of the Bulldogs in their most recent matchup on February 16 which ended in a 61-59 decision on the road in Des Moines.

The 2025 Missouri Valley Conference men’s basketball tournament is played in St. Louis, MO at the Enterprise Center. Keep it right here where we’ll keep you updated with the results of every game as the week goes on.
