Nebraska hasn’t exactly been lighting up the trail of late. It’s not that the ‘Huskers commitments are untalented. Just the opposite, in fact, as four of Nebraska’s commitments are rated four stars or better. Granted, that’s not enough talent to contend for the Big Ten crown with Michigan and Ohio State tearing up the recruiting trail, but it’s enough to hold one’s own in the conference.
Nebraska Football Recruiting: ‘Huskers Prepare For Home Stretch
Can Nebraska find another cornebrack recruit before signing day?
The problem is numbers. As in, Nebraska needs more players than it is currently bringing in. But they do have a chance to close strong and make this class a success.
The cornerback class is currently a huge need. The Huskers do have a commitment from Mo Seisay, a JUCO player with several BCS offers. But Andy Ketterson of Corn Nation says they need at least one more.
Two spots at which the Huskers seem to be done is at defensive end and linebacker, with a combined six commitments between the two positions.
