Two of those touchdown passes went to running back Gee Gee Green, who hauled in scores of 19 and 41 yards. To go along with those two catches for 60 yards, Green also added 39 yards rushing on seven carries. Navy didn’t exactly morph into West Virginia, though -- they still ran the ball 62 times for 238 yards, though that only comes out to 3.8 yards per carry.

Later in the third, halfback Ja’Terian Douglas broke an 81-yard touchdown run to extend the Tulsa lead to 16.

Colorado came back and took a 7-6 lead in the second quarter when Tony Jones scored on a 2-yard touchdown run.
On the ensuing kickoff, Arizona State fumbled and the Buffaloes recovered with 17 seconds left in the first half. Quarterback Jordan Webb took two shots into the end zone, but both fell incomplete and Colorado settled for a 37-yard field goal to cut ASU’s lead to 20-17.

Colorado, on the other hand, has struggled on both sides of the ball. The Buffaloes are 1-4 on the season and rank in the bottom 20 in both points scored and points allowed. Colorado’s offense is averaging 21.6 points through its first five games, good for 102nd in the country. The defense ranks lower, coming in at 118th by allowing 39.4 points per game. Like Arizona State, Colorado is also coming off a bye week.
