VIDEO: Elite 11 Camp 2012 Features Tyrone Swoopes And Kevin Olsen

SB Nation’s Dan Rubenstein was joined by Yogi Roth, host of The Elite 11 Quarterback Camp series presented by ESPN and Nike. Rubenstein and Roth discuss the setup of the camp, as well as two top quarterback participants in Texas commitment Tyrone Swoopes and uncommitted New Jersey recruit Kevin Olsen, brother of former Miami Hurricane Greg Olsen.

Enjoy the video:

SB Nation previously profiled Tyrone Swoopes here, here and here. Swoopes is a big, special athlete with plenty of arm, but there is some debate about his ability to play the quarterback position at the next level. SB Nation Texas recruiting expert Wescott Eberts is confident in Swoopes’ ability to do so. Roth was also impressed with Swoopes, as you’ll see in the video.

Olsen is one of the top recruits in the country, and as Roth indicated, many believe he will follow in his brother’s footsteps and commit to the University of Miami. He would certainly be in line for playing time, as he is held in much higher regard than the quarterback recruits recently committing to Coral Gables.
