Sebastian LaRue Commits To USC Trojans

Top receiving recruit Sebastian LaRue committed to the USC Trojans late Thursday night, the LA Times reported. LaRue stars for Santa Monica (Calif.) High School. He stands 5'11 and checks in at 185 pounds. He can likely also play corner and running back, depending on the scheme.

LaRue is a consensus four-star recruit, and in a composite of the four major ranking services, he checks in as one of the top 100 recruits in the country.

He holds offers from Florida State, Michigan and Oklahoma, among others. What makes LaRue so coveted? Speed, quickness and moves. LaRue has excellent top-end speed, reaches that speed in a hurry and has the ability to make defenders miss. LaRue also presents a major threat in the return game from the moment he steps on campus.

LaRue is the 10th commitment of the 2013 class for the Trojans, who continue to recruit only the best of the best given limited scholarships.
